Your desire to contribute is more important than your experience

Our art gallery is powered by people who care about creativity, community, and showing up. Right now, we’re inviting new volunteers and board members to join us as we support artists and strengthen our organization.

You don’t need to know exactly how you want to help — we’ll figure that out together.

How You Can Participate

There are many ways to get involved:

• Help guide decisions as a board member
  • Board President – Support the formulate and execute Cali Commons strategy
    • 2-5 hours a week, 1 weekend a month
  • Board Secretary – Support and maintain the Cali Common’s organization
    • 2-5 hours a week, 1 weekend a month
  • Grand Writing – Support earning grants from various donation sources
    • 1-3 hours a week, 1 weekend a month
  • Board Treasurer – Support Cali Commons financial security
    • 2-5 hours a week, 1 weekend a month
  • General Board Member – Support Cali Commons strategy execution
    • 1-3 hours a week, 1 weekend a month
• Support exhibitions and openings or even behind the scenes as a volunteer: 1-3 hours a week, 1 weekend a month
  • Event Volunteer – Support various events, art reception and return,
  • Skill-based volunteer, such as marketing, finance, communication, and planning

What to Expect

• A manageable commitment
  • One evening a month for meetings
  • One weekend a month to support events
  • Other time, depending on position, to support individual work
• A supportive, collaborative environment
• The chance to see your impact quickly
