One Size. Endless Possibilities celebrates the power of creative constraint. Every participating artist finished work is a 12″ × 12″ surface. While the size is the same, what emerges from that square is entirely their own.
We challenge emerging, re-emerging and established artists to express themselves with bold abstractions or intimate portraits, layered mixed media or sculptural reliefs, and more. This art exhibit showcases how a single uniform size is open to infinite directions.
Viewers of our Cali Commons show will experience visual variation within uniformity. Each piece a window into the artist’s imagination, proving that when the boundaries are fixed, the creativity expands. Whether subtle or explosive, minimalist or maximalist, every work demonstrates the remarkable range that can unfold from one shared starting point. Join us for a vibrant collection of 12” x 12” works with big impact—an exhibition where the only constant is the size, and the possibilities truly are endless.

Note: We are making 1 exception and will accept art that is created on an album cover which is only slightly larger.

SUBMISSION OF Art:
Each contributor can submit up to 3 pieces.
Note: a small collection or ensemble will be considered 1 piece, if you have questions on our definition of collection / ensemble, please email us at events@calicommons.com. – All art forms will be considered for our pop-up gallery show. Cali Commons is a family-friendly gallery.
– All art must be ready to hang or display. Cali Commons accepts hung work utilizing either a wire hanger or a sawtooth hanger.
Submission Fee : $12 for one piece, $25 for 2-3 art pieces
Submission fee will be requested at art drop off.
Gallery Commission: Cali Commons will receive a 30% commission for the sale of your works to help support the mission of Cali Commons. We appreciate your generosity to help sustain our art community. Artist payments will be mailed within 4 weeks of the show closing to the address included on the form below.

Promotion: Artists are encouraged to assist in the promotion of the show via their own communication channels by inviting family & friends to the show and sharing event information on your social media channels, personal or professional websites or direct emails.
Disclaimer: By submitting digital artwork images to Cali Commons, artists are granting Cali Commons the use of these images for show promotion.
Neither Cali Commons or the sponsors are not responsible for lost, incomplete, damaged, illegible, late, or misdirected submissions. Artists must have their own insurance.
Ownership of Unclaimed Artwork: If an artist fails to retrieve their artwork within thirty (30) calendar days following the conclusion of the exhibition, and no written extension or arrangement has been made, the artwork shall be deemed abandoned. The sponsoring organization shall thereafter assume full ownership and reserves the right to dispose of, store, donate, or sell the artwork at its sole discretion.
